Maybe someone could shed light on to why interviewers want this asymmetry? If it were me, I wouldn't continue in the process for 2 reasons: Thank you, that's what I was getting at but couldn't think of how to phrase it.
The interviewer could be handicapped or have a visual deformity or something. Regardless, if you can't trust me enough to show me your face but expect to see mine, that's a deal-breaker for me.
