He was born on July 20, 1933, in Shenandoah and was a son of the late Floyd Turner and Ella V. He worked for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in Stamford, N. His 25-year career ended in 1988 with his retirement from the Department of Adult Services. Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protection Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, N. She is survived by a daughter, Lori Atkins of Shenandoah; three brothers, Raymond, William and Earman Seal, all of Shenandoah; and two grandsons. John Raymond Triplett, 62, of Elkton, died on Saturday, Jan. Pete was a very talented carpenter and electrician and was always doing odd jobs for family, friends and his church. James Bolden Hudson, 82, of Luray, Va., died Thursday, Jan. Services performed under the direction of the Bradley Funeral Home Inc. Memorials can be made to Main Street Baptist Church, where he was a member; or to the Antioch Independent Bible Church of Luray in his memory. In September 2007, she married Pete Merica, who preceded her in death in 2010. and Marguerite Good, preceded her in death in 19, respectively. Services will be held at the Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 7-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church and the American Cancer Society.
